This Cisco 4000 informational error message indicates that the hardware is unable to process a packet as such, the the packet was punted to the software (CPU) instead. The packet is eventually dropped because it was unexpected This error indicates that the packet cannot be handled by the TCAM hardware, so the most likely cause is a transient hardware glitch in the supervisor engine. No action is required as this severity 4 error message is informational only
